We uncovered another Diebold scam.

In Utah they told our decision-makers that they have "about 20 offices state-wide".

A volunteer researcher noticed that only one of the Diebold offices answered its phones and drove to all the Diebold offices listes in http://whitepages.com only to find that of the 18 offices Diebold listed in Utah in the phone book, 16 of them were in actuality Walmart or Sam's Club locations.

Walmart could sue Diebold. Unlikely - Walmart may be complicit in the scam if phone numbers were installed to its location for Diebold that are not used for anything (Diebold does not operate Walmart's ATMs from what we've been told by Walmart staff and by calling the numbers on the ATMs that are in Walmart)

Or if Diebold put those false claims in writing to state decision makers, which we haven't seen yet either.

If you could help to investigate by sending some return receipt requested letters to the addresses listed in a state, or by driving to locations and taking pictures of what is there with street address in photo if possible,..

Do a search on http://whitepages.com and put in Diebold as the business name. Also put in Sam's Club or Walmart as the business name and compare addresses. However, in Utah we found many additional phoney locations by driving to them.

Diebold claims to have 400 nationwide offices but does not list their locations anywhere publicly. (I'm sure that's true when you add up all the Diebold and Walmart locations listed by Diebold.)

We found here in Utah that there were more phoney locations than you could find by matching up Diebold and Walmart in the phone book too.

The same thing exists in MS where Diebold just sold state-wide systems.

Similar matches of Diebold business phone listings with addresses of Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores have been completed for Alabama and New Hampshire.

Does anyone have suggestions on the best way to present this information to the general public, particularly in those states whose election officials have great faith in the integrity of the Diebold company, its election systems, and the personnel involved in selling and servicing its voting machines?
